We like to think of our yoga and meditation retreats as a way to journey to your own internal sacred place, whatever that looks like for you, with a group of like-minded people each on their own unique path. An opportunity to travel to an exotic location to Create Space & Breathe.

Tash discovered yoga when she feel ill (later diagnosed with Autoimmune disease) and attributes her journey back to wellness to yoga, meditation and a drastic change in diet! Coming from 10+ years of working in a corporate environment, she is very aware of the stress that the modern world puts on you to get it all done, often leaving no space to just breath and be.

So her yoga philosophy is all about how you feel (rather than how you look) with lots of emphasis on the breath and ease of movement. Her mission is to get you breathing, moving and feeling better!

Tash likes to create a light-hearted atmosphere within classes that encourages students to be at ease and relax, making it easier to experience the magic of being present. 

Upon completing her teacher training with Ashram Yoga in New Zealand Tash opened Beginner Yogi Yoga Studio in Wellington, NZ and has recently launched an online yoga membership (BYOM) within NZ. She has completed training and workshops with Tara Stiles and Mike Taylor from Strala, Tara Judelle, Tiffany Criukshank and is an accredited Ovio Mindfulness facilitator and reiki practitioner.

 Helen (200-ERYT, 500 CYT) has been a student of yoga and meditation for over 20 years.

Having worked as a lawyer for a period of time she made a lifestyle (and heartfueled choice) to complete her Yoga Alliance yoga teaching qualification in 2011.

Since training she has her time adventuring, studying and teaching around the world.

Her most recent adventure has been in becoming a mum, which has cracked her heart and faculty of wonder wide open all over again.

She teaches with humor, enthusiasm, relevance and compassion and invites her students to be present, to breathe, and to investigate how our practice on the mat can influence and enhance our life off the mat.

Helen has trained with Hot Yoga New Zealand, in New York in The Kaivalya Yoga Method (a style based on both the Ashtanga and Jivamukti lineages) and in India with various teachers and schools.
