Both Tash and I are accredited Ovio Mindfulness facilitators (as well as yoga and meditation instructors) and as part of your Bali retreat program you will have the opportunity to participate and learn the complete Ovio Mindfulness One program. A course that has changed the lives of many!
We’re passionate about what we do because we’ve seen the impact of these practices positively change our lives. We teach from experience, not just from theory and will both talk to you in our classes about how we’ve been challenged to deepen our relationship with mindfulness, meditation and yoga in order to move through challenging times in our lives.
We know that the first thing that often falls off in times of stress and overwhelm is self-care, the ability to breathe fully and the ability to put things in perspective!
The mindfulness practices that the Ovio course teaches have been something that has helped both Tash and I to turn inward at these times. To recognise and notice the situation for what it is, to turn down the noise and to create some ‘step-back-ability’ from the perceived stressors and situation. And, the beauty of these practices is that they can happen now, not tomorrow, not when you next get on your mat, not when you get home, find quiet etc – but right here and now. I can be practicing RAIN, PAUSE or mindful breathing as I’m in conversation with you, as I’m in a meeting, as I’m playing with my daughter.
